Dream a Little Dream

For me, dreams are like this image, unrealistic,ugly and without any sense. I believe that a dream could also be memories from the past but with things changed. In the animated war documentary, "Waltz with Bashir", Ari Folman has a dream where he is in an ocean during the Lebadon War. He gets out of the ocean once he sees flares shooting out of the sky. In the film he talks to his old friends about the war, but none ever recall the ocean. It is later revealed in the end, that he never went to the ocean, but in reality he was involved with a horrible massacre and that he made up the whole thing with the ocean so he could forget the massacre.
